Scotland's Golf Courses aims to give both the visitor
to Scotland and the Scottish golfer a comprehensive guide to a great range of courses.
Addresses and telephone numbers are given along with, where possible, the names of the
secretary and/or the professional. There are also directions to the course and suggestions
for accommodation.
To give you an idea of what to expect from the course, we detail the
number of holes, yardages in most cases from the championship or medal tees
par, standard scratch score and course record. In some cases, there is also a card of the
course and a description and diagram of the clubs signature hole. Clubs operate
different restrictions and wherever possible these are detailed along with green fees,
which are subject to change. We also state whether clubs have a bar and catering services,
and list the facilities they provide such as trolley/buggy hire, putting green, pro shop,
practice ground and driving range.
While every effort has been made to compile an accurate and complete
guide to Scottish courses, with the help of their secretaries and professionals, the
publishers cannot be responsible for any errors, omissions or changes of details.
If you are planning to visit any of the courses in this guide, you
should telephone the club in advance to ascertain availability of playing times and green
fees. |
